The Office of Academic Affairs

The Office of Academic Affairs provides the guidance and leadership necessary to encourage all forms of intellectual discovery, which is the cornerstone of the entire undergraduate experience at Columbia College. Situated at the nexus of the College’s academic life, Academic Affairs upholds the standards and policies established by the faculty, while overseeing all aspects of the College curriculum, extending intellectual participation beyond the classroom, encouraging students to become informed global citizens, and working to create a cooperative atmosphere in which to address academic questions and concerns.

The Office of Academic Affairs provides resources for Columbia College students, all instructors teaching Columbia College students, and all faculty and staff charged with advising Columbia College students in the academic departments.
