For questions on, or clarification of, all the College’s academic policies and procedures, rules and regulations, as well as curricular issues.
Jamie Chandler
Provides administrative support for and general information about the Core Curriculum.
Miosoty Checo
Responsible for processing and monitoring processing all financial transactions of the Center. Provides overall support with Core programming, exemption request and petitions.
Karen Jung
Responsible for Columbia College Bulletin and UNIFY; oversees academic curriculum, academic policies and procedures.
Toni Gunthrope-Hardee
Manage the administrative, financial, operational and programming of the Core. Advise students on Core Curriculum matters.
Hazel May
Assists and advises faculty and students in all matters of academic affairs, including faculty-student connections, academic advising, student petitions and appeals, undergraduate research; oversees general academic policies and procedures; staffs the faculty Committee on Instruction, assisting the committee in its work overseeing the curriculum and academic policies of Columbia College; supports the faculty Committee on Honors, Awards and Prizes in its selection awarding of College (Latin) Honors, Departmental Honors, and Class Valedictorian and Salutatorian, as well as the faculty Phi Beta Kappa selection committee.
Roosevelt Montas
Has overall responsibility for the administration of the Core Curriculum, with particular oversight of faculty related issues.
Rose Razaghian
Provides institutional research for the College and the Arts and Sciences. Acts as advisor to students completing the Modified Foreign Language Requirement and to the student Academic Awards Committee of the CC Student Council, which awards the Lionel Trilling Book Award and the Mark Van Doren Teaching Award.
Kristen Schneider
Provides administrative support to the Dean, as well as programmatic and organizational support for the Office of Academic Affairs.
Elizabeth Strauss
Provides institutional research for the College and the Arts and Sciences. Acts as advisor to students interested in pursuing an independent major.
Elina Yuffa
Has particular responsibility for Frontiers of Science administration, including student registration and faculty liaison; also oversees all Core technology requirements.
