Columbia College Young Alumni (CCYA) represents one of the best opportunities for recent graduates to stay involved with the Columbia community while taking advantage of valuable networking and career building events.
Those who have graduated in the last decade, or "Young Alumni", are a vital part of the Columbia community and can make the greatest difference in the future of the College.
CCYA depends on volunteers to lead academic, cultural, social, athletic, community service, and career-focused networking programs.
Three volunteer levels accommodate busy schedules and allow for varying commitments:
Help form the vision for CCYA programming in a rewarding two-year Chair position.
Become involved in CCYA without the commitment of Executive Board membership. Committee members attend three CCYA meetings (at least two in person) and two events each year.
Volunteer your time in a less formal role by attending events, referring new volunteers and planning on an ad hoc basis.
For more information or to volunteer, contact Mia Gonsalves, assistant director, alumni affairs, at gm2156@columbia.edu or 212-851-7977.
