Alumni & Friends

Reunion Committees

Columbia College opens its doors once again to graduates during the Alumni Reunion Weekend. Held each spring, the weekend provides alumni with a chance to catch up with old friends, meet new ones, or even catch a class.

The success of each Alumni Reunion Weekend is due to the efforts of numerous volunteers serving on two crucial committees:

Programming and Outreach Committee

Committee members plan and execute reunion events in conjunction with the Alumni Office and are responsible for increasing attendance through personal calls and emails to classmates.

Reunion Gift Committee

Committee members raise awareness of the class gift campaign and encourage participation through personal calls and emails to classmates.

Volunteers may serve on one or both committees and are responsible for:

  • Acting as personal liaison between the reunion class and The Columbia College Office of Alumni Affairs and Development
  • Locating "lost" alumni
  • Planning and executing activities
  • Encouraging reunion attendance
  • Supporting the class gift effort

For more information or to join a committee, contact the Alumni Office at ccalumni@columbia.edu or 866-CC-ALUMNI.
