CCYA Artist Studio Series: Collier Schorr

Collier Schorr was born in New York in 1963. Schorr was awarded the Guna S. Mundheim Fellow from the American Academy Berlin in 2007 and will complete a residency in 2008. Also in 2008, Collier Schorr will curate an exhibition about her work at the Deutsche Guggenheim, Berlin, and will have a solo shows at the Villa Romana, in Florence and Le Consortium, Dijon France. Her work has been included in exhibitions at KW Berlin, the International Center for Photography, NY, P.S. 1 Contemporary Art Center, Long Island City NY, Institute of Contemporary Art, London, and the Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam. Schorr currently lives and works in Brooklyn, New York and is represented by 303 Gallery, New York and Stuart Shave | Modern Art, London.
