The
Columbia College Office of Alumni Affairs & Development
(the Alumni Office) connects alumni with each other and to
the College through programming and events, fund-raising and
communications.
Each year, the Alumni Office organizes a series of events on campus and in New York for College alumni, including Homecoming and the Alexander Hamilton Award Dinner in the fall, and the John Jay Awards Dinner and Dean's Day in the spring. The office also collaborates with alumni leaders to plan and host Reunion Weekend on campus each spring.
In addition, the Alumni Office works with alumni groups, such as Columbia College Young Alumni (CCYA), Columbia College Women (CCW) and the Alumni of Color Outreach Program (ACOP) to support their special programming. Through its National Outreach program, the office sponsors Columbia activities throughout the United States for alumni, parents and students. It links alumni and current students through the Alumni-Student Programs.
The Columbia College Fund, the chief agency for raising alumni funds for the College, is administered through the Alumni Office. Each year, thousands of alumni participate in the College Fund through its various subsidiary fund-raising programs — including the John Jay Associates, the leadership donors to Columbia College, the Young Alumni Fund and the Columbia College Parents Fund.
The Alumni Office publishes Columbia College Today, the College's award-winning alumni magazine and ccalumni@columbia.edu, a monthly electronic newsletter. The office also administers the Columbia College E-Community, the online community for College alumni.
The Office of Alumni Affairs & Development is located on the 9th floor of The Interchurch Center, located on the south side of 120th Street between Riverside Drive and Claremont Avenue (across from Barnard College). You can enter the building from either Riverside Drive or Claremont Avenue. The office is open 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
