Follow Along with the Mini Course for Alumni!

By Ethan Rouen ’04J on October 6, 2009

Coming soon, Samuel Moyn, professor of history, will be posting questions and contributing to the discussion as we join him for his mini course, a three-class lecture discussing "Individuality and Society." The course begins on October 21 and will discuss Constant's "The Liberty of the Ancients Compared with that of the Moderns;" J.S. Mill's On Liberty (introduction and chapters 1, 3 and 4); de Tocqueville's Democracy in America (general introduction, volume I, part 2, chapters 7 and 9, and volume II, part 1, chapters 1 and 2, part 2, chapters 1-4 and 16, and part 4, chapters 6-8; the first essay from Nietzsche's On the Genealogy of Morals; and slections from Thus Spoke Zarathustra.

So start reading and thinking, and get ready for Moyn's first post coming soon.

Yeah beyond question very important for the primer! Most of the posts in the blog kindle with fine acquaintance... Thanks for the intelligence! None of the writing services could afford such an chance, all they can do is to make me buy an essay which are not best. The only thing you've got to apprehend trying to make an original composition is that you can buy term paper or buy research papers about anything at all. But remember, to make review about this good topic is not an accessible task. Thanks.
