You may have spent hours in the Butler stacks, but did you know that Columbia’s on-campus and affliate library system comprise 21 separate libraries? All those libraries hold a total of 11.9 million volumes — not to mention 179,457 videos, DVDs, CDs and sound recordings. That adds up to 246 miles of materials!
