Daniel Bell, Henry Ford II Professor Emeritus of the Social Sciences at Harvard University delivered the Fall 2002 Contemporary Civilzation Lecture. He is a scholar in residence of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and has served as a professor of sociology at Columbia University.
