Core Conversations: Bringing the Core Experience Out of the Classroom and Into the World
Core Conversations is the podcast of the Columbia College Core Curriculum. For almost 100 years, Columbia students have sat in small seminars to talk about big ideas in literature, philosophy, theology, politics, music, art, and science. This podcast brings that experience out of the classroom and into the world. Each episode will feature Columbia faculty talking about texts and issues in the Core Curriculum and why they matter today. You’ll hear new perspectives on old things and learn about the greatest minds of the past from some pretty good minds of the present. If you love the True, the Good, and the Beautiful, subscribe to Core Conversations on your favorite podcast app.
Join Core Director Roosevelt Montas and his co-host Robert Thomas for rollicking discussions with Columbia faculty. New weekly episodes premiere on Soundcloud, Saturdays at 10 a.m. ET.
