Learn about this exciting program with the Columbia Department of English and Comparative Literature! Columbia Professor Jean Howard will teach the program’s Fall 2017 Global Seminar, London Theatre 1590 to 2017, which will examine changes in London theater culture from the late Elizabethan to the contemporary moment. Other courses will be chosen from the local host university, Queen Mary University of London (QMUL). QMUL, one of the UK’s most prestigious universities, offers programs across a broad range of disciplines, including physical and natural sciences, business and management, engineering, humanities, and social sciences. All qualified students are welcome to apply for the program. Students do not need to major in English and Comparative Literature, but they should demonstrate the motivation to study the topic taught in the global seminar. Application deadline: March 15, 2017 Questions? Schedule an appointment to meet with Jillian Burdziak (jmb2336@columbia.edu)
