Roosevelt Montás, director of the Center for the Core Curriculum, will present a wide-ranging overview of the Core Curriculum, from its place in the history of liberal education, to the debates that have shaped it, to the goals it pursues, and to the challenges it faces. A period of question and answer will follow the talk. First-year CUSP Scholars are required to attend. ASP first-year students are most cordially invited.
