With over 40 years in Silicon Valley, Kleiner Perkins has been at the center of innovation – investing and building companies like Google, Amazon, Nest, Genentech, and many more. An important part of building iconic companies is attracting young talent, and that’s why we started the KP Fellows program. As Dean of the Center for Career Education at Columbia Unversity, I wanted to ask for your help this year in encouraging your brightest students to apply to be Fellows this year. Here’s a video of the program: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rHWkqKBCH6k The KP Fellows Program is a unique, career-defining opportunity for technical students who are interested in pursuing technology, entrepreneurship, design and startups. With a portfolio of some of the fastest growing startups companies in Silicon Valley, we match students to companies like Uber, Slack, Airbnb, Pinterest, and Robinhood for summer work experiences. Additionally, this small cohort of Fellows will gain exclusive access to events and programming with my partners here at Kleiner Perkins, CEOs and executives across a variety of our portfolio companies, and other talented KP Fellows. Applications for the 2019 KP Engineering Fellows Program are open now and close September 30th, 2018 at fellows.kleinerperkins.com.
