Join First-in-Family Programs as we present a panel of faculty, including Professor Karen Phillips (Chemistry Department) and Professor Tony Dear (Computer Science Department), willing to share their experiences and answer your questions about how to best connect with professors. This is your chance to: *Be prepared to connect with one of your professors feeling confident *Learn from faculty about how to get the most out of office hours *Learn the best ways to seek research opportunities, the types of questions to ask, and how to follow up *Learn how to appropriately ask for a letter of support, and what materials to have on hand *Learn about the best ways to seek class support if challenges arise *Gain a greater sense of the “dos” and “don’ts” with connecting with faculty Space is limited, so be sure to RSVP!
