Berick Center for Student Advising First-in-Family Programs
Are you a pre-med student or thinking about a career in public health? If you are, join First-in-Family Programs for its Career Day at New York-Presbyterian/Columbia Hospital! During this outing, you will get an inside look at one of the city's leading hospitals, along with a guided talk ft. Noelia Zork, MD. Dr. Zork is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Columbia University Medical Center and is currently the primary investigator at Columbia for a multi-center NIH-funded trial studying the use of metformin in pre-gestational diabetics. Her interests also include gestational diabetes, complicated twins, and fetal anomalies. Learn about her work and research in preterm birth prevention and maternal-fetal medicine, as well her path she took to get there. The Career Outing is next Thursday, March 15 at 10am (yes, during spring break!). Space is extremely limited—only RSVP if you plan to attend. Metrocards and a light refreshments will be provided.
