The Office of Global Programs has announced Columbia University in London, a new study abroad program in London.

Columbia College topped the leaderboard charts for the fourth annual Columbia Giving Day, a 24-hour University-wide event in which the goal is to support and increase awareness of annual funds across all schools. This year’s event took place on October 21 and nearly 1,700 College-related donors — comprising alumni, parents, students and friends — contributed a total of $3.7 million, a passionate show of support to continuing to build the best undergraduate experience for our students.

The Office of Multicultural Affairs is offering a new intercultural opportunity, the Global Ambassador Program, a year-long program that aims to foster intercultural dialogues and friendships within Columbia’s diverse student body.

Valerie Purdie-Vaughns CC’93, associate professor of psychology and adjunct professor at the Columbia Business School, and Brent R. Stockwell, professor of biological sciences and chemistry, will be leading a University Lecture program.
