Biography: 
Susanna Berger is a senior from California and a double major in Philosophy and Art History. She plans to use her year in Germany to research the influence of Immanuel Kant and his notions of the noumenal realm on early 19th century German painters. She is particularly interested in looking at Caspar David Friedrich and Karl Friedrich Schinkel. She hopes to study at the Freie Universitat inĀ Berlin.
