Columbia College aims to help educate donors on the impact of their gift, properly thank and recognize donors for their support and help reaffirm their commitment to investing in the College by engaging them with the work of Columbia.
Each year, Columbia College produces an Annual Fund Report to recognize donors who have given to the Columbia College Fund, as well as share class and individual achievements. In 2007-2008, the 55th Annual Fund Report was sent to over 15,000 alumni, parents and friends. The report includes a complete donor roll of all alumni and parents who have given to the College and all friends who have given over $1,500. The Annual Fund Report also honors different categories of giving by providing special recognition for John Jay Associates, Gifts in Honor and in Memory of, Campaign Leadership gifts and Scholarship support.
John Jay Associates are the leadership donors of the Columbia College fund and are given special recognition each year. Each year, the John Jay Associates generate almost 80 percent of the funds raised by the College. Benefits to becoming a John Jay Associate donor include invitations to College events and acknowledgement in the Annual Report. For more information, click here.
