April 7, 2017, "Meet the Fulbright": Columbia University is excited to host representatives of the Fulbright program, who will be on campus to discuss the many fellowship opportunities offered by the Fulbright U.S. Student Program, the application processes, eligibility, and answer questions from CU students. All are encouraged to attend! (Friday, April 7, 2017, 2-3:30pm, Location: Hamilton 702), RSVP HERE.

April 13, 2017, "Meet the Rhodes": Columbia University is delighted to welcome Elliot Gerson, the American Secretary of the Rhodes Trust, to campus to discuss the Rhodes Scholarship opportunity and application process. All are encouraged to attend! (Thursday, April 13, 4-5pm in Hamilton 202/Core Conference Room).

April 21, 2017, “Exploring International Fellowships": Join OGP Fellowship advisors for an information session on postgraduate opportunities in the UK, Ireland, and China. Discussion topics for this information session include, but are not limited to, exploring a variety of post-graduate degree-seeking opportunities, application processes, setting an individualized timeline, methods for creating a compelling personal statement, being strategic with letters of recommendation, and the resources that are available to aid in all of the above in applying for international prestigious fellowships. All are welcome to attend! (Friday, April 21, 2017, 4-5pm, Hamilton 503).

April 24, 2017, “Exploring International Fellowships": University College London's Senior Liaison and Recruitment Officer, Alexander Craik, will join OGP Fellowship Advisors for an information session on postgraduate funding opportunities available in the UK, Ireland, and beyond. Discussion topics for this information session include, but are not limited to, exploring a variety of post-graduate degree-seeking opportunities, application processes, setting an individualized timeline, methods for creating a compelling personal statement, being strategic with letters of recommendation, and the resources that are available to aid in all of the above in applying for international prestigious fellowships. Mr. Craik will provide a specific focus on the opportunities available at University College London across many disciplines, as well as post-graduate life in the U.K. All are welcome to attend! (Monday, April 24, 2017 from 6-7:30pm, Hamilton 202/Core Conference Room).

April 27, 2017, “Getting Started on Your Candidacy: Research Proposals": OGP Fellowship Advisors will discuss effectively fulfilling the requirements for the Fulbright U.S. Student Program alongside exploring methods, tips, and formulas for putting together a strong application which you feels best represents your candidacy for a variety of other experiential and/or research based fellowship opportunities. All are welcome to attend! (Thursday, April 27, 2017, 3-4pm in Hamilton 202/Core Conference Room).
