OGP FELLOWSHIPS | Calendar of Events, Spring 2017

April 24, 2017, "Meet the Rangel": Representatives of the Charles B. Rangel International Affairs Fellowship will be on campus to discuss the Graduate Fellowship as well as the Summer Enrichment Program for Undergraduates. All are welcome to attend to learn more about these two opportunities that seek to attract and prepare young scholars for career in International Affairs. (Monday, April 24, 2017, Baer Room, 408 Lewisohn Hall, 5:00 - 5:50 p.m).

April 24, 2017, “Exploring International Fellowships": Join OGP Fellowship advisors for an information session on postgraduate opportunities in the UK, Ireland, and China. We will discuss a variety of post-graduate degree-seeking opportunities, application processes, individualized timelines, methods for creating a compelling personal statement, strategies for obtaining letters of recommendation, and the resources that are available to you in the application process. In addition, University College London's Senior Liaison and Recruitment Officer, Alexander Craik, will join OGP Fellowship Advisors to provide a specific focus on the opportunities available at University College London across many disciplines, as well as post-graduate life in the U.K. All are welcome to attend! (Monday, April 24, 2017 from 6-7:30pm, Hamilton 202/Core Conference Room).

April 26, 2017: "Meet the Schwarzman", Schwarzman Scholars representatives will be on campus to discuss the scholarship opportunity, the application process, life in Beijing, and take questions from interested students. All are welcome to attend! Wednesday, April 26, 2017, 5-6pm (EALAC Lounge, 4th floor Kent/Kent 403).

April 27, 2017, “Getting Started on Your Candidacy: Research Proposals": OGP Fellowship Advisors will discuss how to apply for the Fulbright U.S. Student Program and how to put together a strong application for this fellowship and a variety of other experiential and/or research based fellowship opportunities. All are welcome to attend! (Thursday, April 27, 2017, 3-4pm in Hamilton 202/Core Conference Room).
