Through the generosity of Columbia College alumni/ae and parents, the Alumni and Parent Internship Fund (APIF) provides grants to Columbia College students to enable them to accept unpaid summer internships that will foster their career exploration and build upon their academic studies, without having to worry about the financial burden associated with having no salary.

APIF monies are limited, and the selection process is competitive.  Individual awards typically range from $300 to $3,000, and between thirth and forty awards may be offered each year.

Eligibility is limited to registered rising Columbia College sophomores, juniors and seniors who have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0, who receive Columbia grant-based financial aid, and who have secured an unpaid internship for the summer by the APIF application deadline.

If you are unsure if you receive grant-based financial aid, please contact the Office of Undergraduate Financial Aid & Educational Financing
