The Columbia Alliance offers Alliance Travel Grants for Special Student Projects (up to $2,000) to undergraduate and graduate students enrolled at one of the four universities (Columbia University, Sciences Po, Panthéon-Sorbonne University and École Polytechnique) to support special international projects, such as individual research, participation at a conference or in a summer school, and research internships.

Awards are made on a case by case basis, seeking unique, unusual, creative, and/or innovative proposals. Priority is given to projects embedded in or utilizing an institutional relation between Columbia and one or more of the French partner universities (Sciences Po, Panthéon-Sorbonne University and École Polytechnique).

Eligibility: All students (undergraduates in all majors, Master and PhD candidates) enrolled at Columbia University, Sciences Po, Panthéon-Sorbonne University and École Polytechnique are eligible to apply. Preference will be given to juniors and seniors. This funding may not be used to partake in a study abroad or language learning program.
