Originally named the Eesti Fellowship, the Eesti and Eurasian Public Service Fellowship is dedicated to public service.  It is designed to provide Columbia  College students the opportunity to intern during the summer in public service positions, whether governments or civil society organizations, in select emerging nations, presently Estonia, Georgia, Nepal, Cambodia, Ecuador, Malawi, Uganda, and Kenya, and leave a legacy of accomplishment.

To apply, students should provide a copy of their current resume along with a cover letter that addresses the following information about the internship, as well as an explanation of why they wish to pursue this opportunity.

 

- Name of Employer

- Location of Employer & Internship

- Supervisor Contact Information

- Internship period & hours

- Type of work that student will be doing during internship

- Paid or unpaid internship (if paid how much will receive)

- Estimated costs associated with internship

 

Finally, students should also submit a copy of their current transcript (either official or unofficial).

 

The deadline for this year’s competition is Monday, April 30, 2012.  Please turn in all materials to Dean Pippenger in 105 Carman by the close of business on that day.
