Women LEAD Nepal offers administrative fellowships to college seniors and recent graduates to enable them to contribute their knowledge and skills to the work of a dynamic international nonprofit organization dedicated to leadership development for young women in Nepal. For the upcoming year, the organization seeks:
- A Development and Evaluation Fellow, who will implement the organization’s fundraising and evaluation plans, and
- A Communications Fellow, who will coordinate the organization’s web content, social media presence, and other communications strategies.
Each fellow will receive a living stipend, pre-departure training and orientation, and ongoing professional development opportunities. Both fellows will report directly to the organization’s executive director and work full-time for ten months in Kathmandu, beginning (ideally) in August 2014.
Specific qualifications vary slightly according to position. Candidates for each must have a bachelor’s degree (or higher) by the time they would take up their fellowship, significant experience in the main responsibilities of each position, and a demonstrated commitment to empowering young women to assume leadership positions in their communities. Strong communication skills are also expected for each position.
Early applications are encouraged for both. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews. Additional information is available on the sponsor’s website.
