CHEM C3045x-C3046y Intensive Organic Chemistry for First-Year Students (Lecture) 3.5 pts. Prerequisites: A grade of 5 on the Chemistry Advanced Placement exam and an acceptable grade on the Department placement exam. Not open to students who have taken other courses in college-level chemistry. Premedical students may take CHEM C3045, C3046, and C3545 to meet the minimum requirements for admission to medical school. This course covers the same material as CHEM C3443-C3444, but is intended for students who have learned the principles of general chemistry in high school. The level of instruction is appropriate for those who have not had a college course in general chemistry. Students enrolled in CHEM C3045-C3046 are expected to enroll concurrently in CHEM C2507.
