True flourishing begins with a foundation of care, connection and purpose. Supporting students’ social and emotional well-being is essential to the kind of growth that Columbia College aims to foster — growth that is not only intellectual, but personal, relational and enduring.
We are committed to embedding well-being throughout the student experience, creating an environment where asking for help is a sign of strength, empathy is a shared value, and every student feels seen, supported and empowered to thrive. Our work reflects the understanding that well-being and rigorous academics are inseparable elements of a meaningful education.
Through initiatives like the Navigator Program, the Peer-to-Peer Wellness Advocate Program, Live Well | Learn Well, and in partnership with Columbia Health and Columbia faculty expertise, as well as external partners, we equip students to succeed academically while developing the balance, resilience, connection and purpose that sustain them during and beyond their time at Columbia.
