Kellie Jones (Professor of Art History and Archaeology), will discuss her new book South of Pico: African American Artists in Los Angeles in the 1960s and 1970s. Farah Jasmine Griffin (Professor of English and Comparative Literature) will join in conversation. Introduction by Deborah Cullen, director and chief curator at the Wallach Art Gallery. Preceded by a special viewing of the Living in America: Frank Lloyd Wright, Harlem, and Modern Housing exhibition.
