President Biden recently announced that all American adults will be eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine by May 1; however, the vaccine rollout has not been simple or seamless. Not only has the pandemic highlighted undeniable and devastating health care inequalities in the U.S., but global health experts also warn that inequitable rollout across the globe could leave poor countries playing catch-up for years.

In this exclusive AlumniTALK, a panel of expert alumni will help make sense of the vaccine rollout and discuss the ways in which the pandemic has exposed stark healthcare inequalities on a national and international scale.

Panelists

Kern Collymore CC'10, Co-Founder, Sixth-World Solutions

Carlos Cuevas CC’05, SIPA’12 MPH’12, Chief Strategy Officer, SOMOS IPA

Diana Benton Schechter CC’05, VP of Strategy and Operations, The END Fund

Janene Yazzie BC’10, Co-Founder, Sixth-World Solution
