Columbia Baseball won its second consecutive Ivy League Championship, and its third since 2008. Columbia Baseball rode a 15-game winning streak during the season to force a one-game playoff against the Penn Quakers for the Ivy League Lou Gehrig title. They advanced to the NCAA Championship, earning the No. 3 seed in the Coral Gables Regional, the first Ivy League team to be seeded higher than 4th since the current format of the Championship Tournament was established.
