Watch a video highlighting Nzingha Prescod ’15’s fencing career

Winter 2013-14

Fencer Nzingha Prescod ’15 is currently ranked No. 1 in the United States and eighth in the world. A captain of Columbia’s fencing team, she won gold at the Marseille Foil Grand Prix in May, making her the first U.S. women’s foil fencer to win a Grand Prix title. She also competed in the London 2012 Olympics and has her eyes on Rio in 2016. The below video offers highlights from her career, which began at 9 when her mother brought her for lessons at Manhattan’s Peter Westbrook Foundation.
