Matt McDevitt (KCJS22, 2010-2011, Stanford University)

Matt is a Partner and the COO of QuantumBlack, a McKinsey Company in Japan. Prior to leading QuantumBlack, Matt spent over 8 years helping lead a Silicon Valley based big data analytics startup, scaling it across the US, Europe and Japan including an acquisition by Teradata (NYSE: TDC) in 2014. In total, Matt has spent 5 years in Japan helping clients achieve scaled impact through analytics.

Matt’s experience includes leading some of the world’s largest deployments of big data and advanced analytics technologies across a variety of industries including pharmaceutical, medical device technology, automotive, and consumer packaged goods clients.

Matt holds a BA in International Relations from Stanford University and was at KCJS during the fall semester of 2010. When he is not working on big data and advanced analytics, he enjoys a competitive round of pub trivia or spending time with his wife and son.
