The time is here! Come learn about Special Interest Communities through connecting with current residents on Butler Plaza!

Special Interest Communities (SICs) and the Intercultural House (ICH) offer unique residential experiences to those interested in living among students with common identities or interests. This living arrangement creates opportunities to impact the larger Columbia community through the implementation of programs, events, and workshops in addition to fostering a connection to faculty, staff, and alumni. It is truly a unique experience as all members are encouraged to discover themselves while developing a shared community that comes together around similarities and differences alike.

SIC Applications are now available for the 2022-23 academic year! Applications to live in the SICs for the 2022-23 academic year will be accepted on a rolling basis, with a priority deadline of Sunday, December 11, 2022 by 11:59 PM.
