The Kyoto Consortium for Japanese Studies(KCJS) Program provides the unique opportunities for undergraduate students to spend a semester or academic year in the former imperial capital of Japan. Students take advanced coursework in Japanese language at the 3rd, 4th & 5th year levels plus courses in Japanese studies. To complement their academic program, students participate in a Community Involvement Project, whether that is volunteer work, joining a student club, or studying a Japanese art with a mentor! KCJS also offers the option for students to live with a homestay family. KCJS Need-based Scholarships are available. Awards vary between $500-$5,000.
