The James H. and Christine Turk Berick Center for Student Advising
The Writing Center and First-in-Family Programs is holding a special seminar on WRITING FOR THE UNIVERSITY specifically for First-Gen First-Year students. This workshop will be designed for first-years in SEAS, CC, and GS as well as for transfer students who are in their first-year at Columbia. This will be a marvelous opportunity to work on your academic writing skills, discuss any anxieties, difficulties, or questions you have about writing in a friendly environment, and also to build first-gen community here at Columbia.
