What happens if Excel turns a UNI into a date? How can you compare data from one sheet to another? Learn how to use Excel to clean and compare your data with Excel's built-in functionality. Topics covered will include VLOOKUP and other formulas; finding duplicates; concatenating fields; changing a field's data type; and other tips to improve your spreadsheet's data integrity.

This session is hands-on.
Making sense of your data can be challenging. Microsoft Excel can be a powerful tool in working with small to mid-range data sets to conduct analysis and build data visualizations. During this tutorial, you will conduct basic data analysis on a test data set using Excel tools such as pivot tables, charts, slicers, sparklines, and formulas.

Survey Says ... An Introduction to Qualtrics

We surveyed 100 Columbia College employees, and they were all excited to learn about Qualtrics, a web-based survey tool. After this tutorial, the hardest part will be coming up with the questions.
