Columbia College is an intergenerational community of more than 47,000 current and former students, and the College provides numerous opportunities for students and alumni to connect. Students who have received named scholarships meet their alumni donors at the annual Dean’s Scholarship Reception, some forging connections that last long after the students have graduated. Students also connect with alumni through internship programs such as the new Columbia College Alumni Sponsored Student Internship Program (CCASSIP), which offers exclusive, high-quality internships sponsored by alumni. Students also connect with alumni through student-alumni engagement programs including panel discussions, mentoring programs, meals and interview preparation. The connections between students and alumni reinforce the strong bond that all College alumni share.
