Connecting Students and Alumni

A new program extends student-alumni connections

Columbia College Student Ambassadors (CCSA), a group founded in 2013, works to strengthen connections between current and former students and to build a more robust intergenerational College community. Student ambassadors collaborate with the Columbia College Alumni Association to create opportunities for students to meet alumni, to learn about alumni experiences and to attend alumni events as representatives of the student body. CCSA is one of several initiatives of the Columbia College Office of Alumni Affairs and Development’s alumni relations team, which works closely with the CCAA on its strategic initiatives to expand alumni engagement.

“I think you really get a nice perspective when you meet people who went through what you went through, can compare their experiences to yours and can show you a picture of what success or what life after college is going to look like.”

Eyvana Bengochea ’16, CCSA Vice President
