Bright Lights in the Big City

Hundreds of students turned out on Dec. 5 for the College’s annual Tree Lighting Ceremony. Though gale-force winds resulted in canceled performances by Columbia’s a cappella groups, attendees stayed cozy with hot cocoa and warm vibes. The countdown to the big moment began at 6:15 p.m., and then College Walk was lit, turning on the holiday season in Morningside Heights.
