PRO BOWL: Marcellus Wiley '97 was a starting defensive end for the American Conference squad in the February 10 Pro Bowl, the National Football League's postseason all-star game. Wiley, who spent two seasons at Columbia as a reserve running back before being converted to defensive end by coach Ray Tellier, led the San Diego Chargers and was tied for sixth in the NFL with 13 sacks in 2001.
