Adaptation of Don Quixote by Orson Welles, 1950s.
Directed by Orson Welles and starring Francisco Reiguera as Quixote. Welles began production in the 1950s. It was originally commissioned for CBS television. However, Welles soon expanded the film to feature length and moved the project to Mexico. Unfortunately the film was never completed on account of the unexpected death of Reiguera. A version of the film was put together from available fragments in 1992 and released to the public.
