Letter from W.E.B. Du Bois to Booker T. Washington, September 24, 1895.

Du Bois wrote this brief letter to congratulate Washington on his Atlanta Exposition Speech. It reads, “Let me heartily congratulate you upon your phenomenal success at Atlanta – it was a word fitly spoken.”
