2013 Core Scholars
We are proud to announce our 2013 Core Scholars. The Core Scholars Program is designed to analyze, question, dramatize, interpret, and (of course) reflect on the materials of the Core Curriculum. Its goals are to heighten understanding of Core topics, explore connections among Core works, and relate the Core to our contemporary world.
Congratulations to our 2013 Core Scholars!

Core Reflections: Expressing Our Inner Core
Thank You From the 2013 Core Scholars Committee
The Core Scholars Program facilitates conversations across time and cultures, between one work and another and between the works and the interpreter. It is the dynamic element of the Core Curriculum, liberating the ideas and expressions isolated in seminal works so that we may push the boundaries of our understanding of issues that are hallmarks of what it means to be human.
On behalf of the 2013 Core Scholars Committee, I would like to thank each and every student who added her or his voice to these important conversations. The Committee thoroughly enjoyed experiencing every submission. Featured on this page is only a handful of these submissions, and we hope that you will engage with these works and join these conversations.
