The 75th Alexander Hamilton Award Dinner, honoring George Van Amson CC’74, will take place on Thursday, November 16, 2023.

George Van Amson CC’74 is managing director of institutional equity sales and trading at Morgan Stanley and is also head of The Americas Analyst and Associate Advising and Development Programs in Morgan Stanley’s Institutional Equity Division. An economics major at the College, Van Amson is a 45-year Wall Street veteran with expertise in domestic and international markets as well as in organizational leadership

The Alexander Hamilton Medal is the highest honor awarded to a member of the Columbia College community for distinguished service to the College and accomplishment in any field of endeavor. It is presented by the Columbia College Alumni Association; Josef Sorett, dean, Columbia College; and Minouche Shafik, president, Columbia University.
