Center for Undergraduate Global Engagement

Join the Center for Undergraduate Global Engagement's Global Learning Assistants as they discuss how to "Pop the Bubble" and enrich your life at Columbia by going abroad! Prospective students and students planning on going abroad during the next Academic Year will have the opportunity to candidly talk about their concerns or excitements and get advice from GLAs who previously studied abroad.

In this chat, GLAs will reflect on their personal experiences around fears of missing out on their time at Columbia, whether with friends, academics, or living in NYC. GLAs will also guide conversations on how to overcome the language barriers while abroad, what it is like to adapt to new academic environments, and provide resources for any concerns about financial viability. Ultimately, we are eager to share how studying abroad can help you develop a healthier relationship with life at Columbia and enrich your experience in NYC once you return!

Please join us in the UGE Center (Uris Hall, 8th Floor Conference Room) on Friday, April 12th at 12:00 PM for some coffee / donuts to help you break down any fears and explore the possibility of taking your goals global!
