I am interested in synthetic organic chemistry, especially in the efficient and scalable syntheses of structurally complex and unusual molecules, and research of their structure-activity relationships. Previously I have conducted research in the field of heterocyclic chemistry and process chemistry (development of convenient synthetic routes for production of high throughput screening compounds). Currently I am working on synthesis of PDI-based graphene nanoribbons in the laboratory of Professor Colin Nuckolls in the Department of Chemistry, Columbia University.
