Description: I am interested primarily in particle physics and astrophysics, and will be conducting research in computational astrophysics this summer. I have previously worked with the Mu2e experiment at Fermilab, which is expected to begin running in a few years in search of signs of physical processes at mass scales above those accessible by the current generation of collider experiments. I worked with a Monte Carlo to create an algorithm for discriminating between electrons and muons.
