SEPTEMBER

Marshall Scholarship endorsements.  For: CC, SEAS, and GS seniors, and recent alumni.  Limits: U.S. citizens, 3.7 GPA.  Post-baccalaureate study in any field in the U.K.  (Prerequisite: submit advising questionnaire by August 18.)

Rhodes Scholarship endorsements.  For: CC, SEAS, and GS seniors, and recent alumni.  Limits: U.S. and other citizens.  Post-baccalaureate study in any field at Oxford.  (Prerequisite: submit advising questionnaire by August 18.)

Fulbright Grant campus evaluations.  For: CC, SEAS, and GS seniors, and recent alumni.  Limits: U.S. citizens.  Post-baccalaureate research, study, or teaching English abroad.  (Prerequisite: submit advising questionnaire by August 22.)

Mitchell Scholarship endorsements.  For: CC, SEAS, and GS seniors.  Limits: U.S. citizens.  Post-baccalaureate study in any field in the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland. 

OCTOBER

Luce Scholarship nominations.  For: CC, SEAS, and GS seniors, and recent alumni.  Limits:  U.S. citizens.  Post-baccalaureate work in any field in East and Southeast Asia, for non-Asia specialists with leadership potential.

Gilman Scholarships.  For: CC, SEAS, and GS undergraduates.  Limits:  U.S. citizens receiving Pell Grants.  Study abroad for credit during the spring semester.  (A later competition focuses on summer and AY 2015 study abroad.)

Churchill Scholarship nominations.  For: CC, SEAS, and GS seniors, and recent alumni.  Limits: U.S. citizens.  Post-baccalaureate study in the natural sciences, computer science, mathematics, and engineering at Cambridge.

David-Weill Scholarship nomination.  For: CC, SEAS, and GS seniors.  Limits:  U.S. citizens between 18 and 25, and 3.7 GPA.  Post-baccalaureate study in the social sciences at the Institut d’études politiques de Paris.

NOVEMBER

Carnegie Endowment Fellowship nominations.  For: CC, SEAS, and GS seniors, and recent alumni.  Limits: U.S. citizens.  Salaried full-time post-baccalaureate work at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in Washington, D.C.

Kellett Fellowships.  For: CC seniors.  Post-baccalaureate study in nearly any field at Cambridge or Oxford.

Truman Scholarship nominations.  For: CC, SEAS, and GS juniors.  Limits:  U.S. citizens and permanent residents.  Undergraduate and graduate tuition support for promising public servants with strong academic records.

DECEMBER

Doctorow Fellowship.  For: CC seniors.  Post-baccalaureate study in a social science or related field at Oxford, some connection to conflict resolution preferred.

Goldwater Scholarship nominations.  For: CC, SEAS, and GS sophomores and juniors. Limits: U.S. citizens, permanent residents.  Undergraduate tuition support for promising scientists, mathematicians, and engineers with strong academic records.

Presidential Global Fellowships.  For: CC, SEAS, and GS first-year students.  Limits: 3.0 GPA.  Full support and enhanced advising for a CU summer study abroad program, to foster a global foundation for further pursuits.

JANUARY

Beinecke Scholarship nomination.  For: CC, SEAS, and GS juniors.  Limits: U.S. citizens or nationals with financial need.  Graduate tuition support for promising scholars in the arts, humanities, or social sciences, in the U.S. or abroad.

Boren/NSEP Scholarships.  For: CC, SEAS, and GS undergraduates.  Limits: U.S. citizens.  Study abroad in languages or world areas considered critical to U.S. and global security interests, broadly construed.

 FEBRUARY

Udall Scholarship nominations.  For: CC, SEAS, and GS sophomores and juniors.  Limits: U.S. citizens and permanent residents.  Tuition support for students intending environmental careers or Native American tribal policy or health careers.

Evans Fellowships.  For: CC seniors.  Post-baccalaureate purposeful and/or imaginative travel projects, other than formal study or work, beyond New York City.

MARCH

Gilman Scholarships.  For: CC, SEAS, and GS undergraduates.  Limits:  U.S. citizens receiving Pell Grants.  Study abroad for credit during the summer or during the upcoming 2015-2016 academic year.

Class of 1939 Summer Research Fellowships.  For: CC sophomores and juniors.  Support for research projects in any field, in the U.S. or overseas, that incorporate Columbia faculty supervision or mentorship.

Carman Fellowship.  For: CC seniors with demonstrable financial need.  Support for post-baccalaureate study toward any graduate degree in any field, in the U.S. or overseas.

APRIL

Holthusen-Schindler Scholarships.  For: CC seniors and alumni.  Limits: demonstrable financial need.  Support for study toward a J.D. degree at Columbia Law School; entering and continuing students may apply.
