February 27, 2017: The George Van Amson Fellowship, funded by Community Impact, is a great opportunity to develop your professional skills while supporting a local nonprofit or service learning project during the summer! Selected Fellows become part of a larger community committed to social justice, civic engagement, and service learning, ultimately deepening their understanding of social change while developing professionally. Columbia College, SEAS, GS, and Barnard undergraduates are eligible to apply for the George Van Amson (GVA) Service Fellowship. To learn more come to an information session with the GVA Representatives on Monday, February 27, 2017 in the Lerner Multipurpose Room: 476B, from 12pm/noon-1pm.
March 3, 2017: Please join the Institute for Israeli and Jewish Studies for the information session on the new, exciting opportunity for Yiddish students: the Naomi Prawer Kadar Fellowship which entails free summer abroad (4 weeks in Israel and 1 week in Poland).
