Guest Bio:

Mark D. Paltrowitz, Head of Fixed Income and Multi-Asset Investment Risk is the Chief Performance Officer for BlackRock's Fixed Income Portfolio Management Group. Mr. Paltrowitz is a member of the Fixed Income Executive Committee.

Mr. Paltrowitz began his investment career in 1996 as an analyst in BlackRock's Portfolio Analytics Group, where he performed portfolio risk analysis and built specialized analyses for mortgage backed securities, derivatives and other structured products.

Mr. Paltrowitz earned a BA degree, cum laude, in applied mathematics from Harvard University in 1996. He co-authored the chapter "Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities" (The Handbook of Fixed Income Securities, 8th Edition)
