We are writing to invite you to join us for a drop-in lunch to learn more about the Columbia Summer Global Core in Athens: Ancient and Modern Olympics program on Thursday February 5th from 12-1pm at Hamilton 618.

This Global Core course, taught by Dr. P. Martzavou and Dr. L. Van Geel, will be a study of the ancient and modern Olympics and will not only be based in Athens, where we will be visiting relevant museums, but also travel to ancient sites such as Delphi, Olympia, and Isthmus over the course of three weeks. You can find more information here on the program website: https://global.undergrad.columbia.edu/program/columbia-summer-global-core-athens-ancient-and-modern-olympics, including more details about how to apply. Applications are due February 13th!

This program is offered by Columbia Global, the Center for Undergraduate Global Engagement, and the Athens Global Center, which generously funds flights and housing for students participating in this program.
