Change of Grade Process

The Columbia College Committee on Instruction has been very concerned with the overall number of grade changes made each semester and, together with the School of General Studies and the Registrar's Office, has approved a new change of grade form which includes a paragraph explaining the policy and instructions that there should be a full rationale for the request.

If you need to request a change of grade for a Columbia College student, your completed request form will be submitted to the Office of the Dean for review by Kathryn B. Yatrakis, Dean of Academic Affairs. When approved, the request will then be forwarded to the Registrar for implementation.
