Columbia undergraduates and student organizations will be honored for their leadership and involvement on campus at the 2013 King’s Crown Leadership Awards Ceremony in Low Library on April 11.

Columbia has been ranked fourth place in U.S. News & World Report’s ranking of National Universities for the fourth year in a row. Princeton was ranked first this year, followed by Harvard (second) and Yale (third). Stanford University and the University of Chicago tied for fifth; Duke University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the University of Pennsylvania tied for seventh; California Institute of Technology and Dartmouth College tied for tenth place.

Columbia College students were honored with awards, prizes and fellowships at the annual Columbia College Academic Awards and Prizes Ceremony on May 20.

The President Emeritus of Columbia University was honored with the 2024 Alexander Hamilton Medal on Nov. 21 at a black-tie dinner in Low Rotunda.

The Center for Career Education, in conjunction with Columbia Entrepreneurship, the Columbia Organization of Rising Entrepreneurs, the Columbia Entrepreneurs Organization (CEO) at Columbia Business School, and the Institute for Data Sciences and Engineering are hosting Jack Dorsey, founder of Square and Twitter, on Monday, Sept. 16, at what will be the largest entrepreneurship event in Columbia University history.
